CEFORD’s Sustainability
While CEFORD operates in an environment where product consumers, competitors or
other suppliers exist, it requires strong social capital to survive. To win the confidence of
the consumers in the region as well as outside the region, CEFORD shall continue to
supply high quality services by keeping in place quality staff and BOARD.
CEFORD has a number of structures and systems in place like the financial and human
resource management systems for its effective operations. However, it shall establish a
team of Community Facilitators at Sub County levels to keep close touch with the
communities and keep its image alive.
As an organization, CEFORD shall develop a system that makes it a “learning
organisation.” It shall document all its experiences and lessons learnt from their
interventions regularly and share this with other organisations.
Incentives like short refresher courses and or exposure visits for staff to organizations
with similar interventions or challenges shall be initiated by CEFORD to keep the staff
motivated and committed.
In order to fill the funding gap, CEFORD shall continue to raise funds through contracted
works and consultancies from Local and Central Governments and other Institutions.
Working in partnership with other organizations in order to share resources.
