19 CBOs trained in planning, monitoring, evaluation, and record keeping

14 organisations trained in proposal writing

51 people from 10 organisations trained in good governance

98 people from 21 CBOs trained in constitutional formation

Provided demand-driven technical support to 24 organizations to help them organisations to share experiences, information, challenges and propose ways to move forward including support with activity plans, producing marketing, and advice to consider HIV/AIDS as an important issue because HIV-AIDS reduces farm labour

Training on Micro credit management for its Board (3 representatives) and Executive members resulting in the establishment of an ARCO office in Adjumani to sell shares to CBOs

Mentoring LNGOs in developing their organisational policies like personnel, asset, finance to strengthen their capacity to deliver services
worked with 644 people and their communities during mobilisation, facilitating project identification, monitoring, operations and management of the 3 water projects - offering community development sensitisations, water point operation & management meetings

9 women took up Executive positions on 18 Water Service Committees (WSC), demonstrating progress to empowerment

Supporting, mentoring and supervising 14 organisations to help raise funding of UGShs 2,822,254 from CHAI in Arua and Adjumani Districts

17 literacy centres have been established in 15 communities for Functional Adult Literacy programs with 17 literacy centres and 15 literacy educators were trained.

Provided training on nutrition to 433 people in 18 FAL group members including topics on agronomic practices in backyard gardening

10 FAL groups were linked to services from other service providers in West Nile- these organisations are ACAV, VUPEG, North West Small Holders project, NUSAF, District and Subcounty Local Government. The areas of support included improved seeds (138 kilograms of groundnuts, 2 bags of cassava stalk, 16 KTB ), construction for FAL classroom, agricultural trainings (animal disease management). Though not planned, Literacy Educators of Adjumani District were linked to the District Community Development Office and 3 bicycles were given to the Literacy Educators to ease their work.

638 people participated in exchange visits to demonstrate their skills and achievements, display crafts, literacy materials, present songs, drama, poems writing skills, and testimonies.

Started the formation of an Educators Network and provided institutional capacity building training in mobilisation, leadership skills, record keeping, constitutional formulation process and annual planning

Reached 988 people with domestic violence sensitization training including exercises to create awareness and increased knowledge on forms/types, causes, effects, reporting and remedy/ channel to handle cases of domestic violence in the different villages/ locations.

Promotion of the girl child education in the 16 selected schools spread in all the Districts of West Nile.
